LM Bevel Edge
Non-destructive chamfer / fillet for elements or entire objects.
Blender 5.2+
v5.3.3
Geometry-nodes based
GPL-3.0-or-later
What it does
- Bevels per edge, non-destructive. Same-size bevels across multiple edges, or differing sizes — each bevel named by you, identifiable and re-editable at any time.
- Edge, Vertex and Object modes. Bevel selected mesh elements, only the corners you pick, or the entire active object in one click.
- Tapering per edge. Vary a bevel from start to finish along a chain, with Reverse Direction and a viewport direction arrow.
- Clamp overrides. When bevels overlap, the clamp override corrects them instead of breaking your mesh.
- Materials on bevel faces. Assign a different Blender material to each bevel's faces.
- Custom profiles. Use a curve or mesh object as the cross-section. Profiles keep their exact scaled XY dimensions and path lengths — matching your original sketch dimensions for precision modelling.
- Convert in place. Swap Chamfer ⇄ Fillet without rebuilding, rename bevels, reassign them to new selections, and apply scale for uniform widths.
- Plays well with the family. With LM Dims installed, Bevel Edge re-homes into the Dims sidebar as its own tab; evaluated LM Profiles carriers work directly as profiles — no hard dependency required.
